Nights

Nights are intense.
Nights are very very quiet but intense.

How can i say it?

Working on music in the dead silence of the night
with earphones on, my condenser microphone
picks up anything and everything and makes
sounds nearer than they really are.
The sounds are so life-like, i get
startled sometimes.

Am i you?
Because these days i refuse to sleep away
the witching hours.
