FUKUSHIMA!

15th August 2011.

At Goodman Arts Center in Singapore, we came together
for a shared purpose – PROJECT FUKUSHIMA!. At this
same time, a synchronized festival was happening worldwide.

A special thank you to the organizers, fellow performers and all
who came and listened, for sharing this meaningful night.

“Once in awhile let’s talk about the old days”,
or so the title of the third song in our setlist
roughly translates to.

I’d like to see it as a prayer of sorts – or a reminder,
a glimpse of the hopeful past… for a land which has
been blemished with fear and prejudice. But it was
once someone’s home. It could have been my home.

There are many mysterious matters we cannot grasp.
But as part of PROJECT FUKUSHIMA!, all of us took on
this intangible stigma with a universal language called
music, in whatever small, transcendental ways.
